Learning from earthworms that loosen the soil and enhance porosity so that plants can root deeper, we envision 1522 Collective contributes to our futures by breaking the silos and creating new connections. We focus on creating lightweight engagements to future food, education, work and democracy that everyone can take part in:
Work
Future workers can pursue their vision through taking actions in forms of organisations that are profitable, comfortable for the team, and friendly for the planet. We believe workers will be founders.
Food
Future consumers can access to cheap and delicious food that is healthy for them, for the producers and for the planet. By taking actions in the food value chain, we belive consumer will be creators.
Education
Future learners main sources of education is not only through teahcers in schools, but from the society, the planet and each other. They will have ability to turn learnings into action or business. We belive learners will be explorers.
Democracy
Future citizens can easily engage in policy making and enjoy participation. They will come up with civic ideas for their own benefit, for harmony of the society and for sustainability of the planet. We believe citizens can be policy makers.
